Kieron Pollard Fined 20 Percent of his Match Fee


Pollard fined for breaching ICC code of conduct and fined 20% of his match fee against India Vs West Indies Live Streaming. He received a point of merit for violating Level One of the ICC Code of Conduct during India's second T20I in Florida.
Pollard was found to have violated Article 2.4 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Player Support Personnel and Players, which relates to the disobedience of an Arbitrator's instructions during an international match.

The incident occurred after the player called a substitute to the field even though the referees repeatedly told him that a request must be made for a substitute to come to the field and advised to wait until the end of the next step. Pollard did not follow the referee's instructions.

The player denied the offense and, as such, had a formal hearing against match referee Jeff Crowe of the Emirates Elite Panel of Arbitrators ICC match. Pollard was convicted after the hearing and fined 20% of his match fee and, as a result, a point of merit has been added to his record.

The referees on the pitch Nigel Duguid and Gregory Braithwaite, third referee Leslie Reifer and fourth officer Patrick Gustard leveled the charges.
